The following are photos from a long-term project I'm working on titled "Back-Lot Fireworks" This series focuses on the less sought after view of the Fourth of July celebration. It includes large city fireworks viewed from abstract areas that people avoid because of too many things in the way, as well as the fireworks displays put on by kids in parking lots with some 5-for-1 firecrackers bought from a little shanty a few miles out of town.
